ACTIVATING YOUR SPIRIT
[[Pro 20:27]] KJV The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
There’s the theology that says man is a tripartite being. Tripartite means three parts. That’s to say man is part spirit, part soul, and part body. This position, however, contradicts the scriptures because the Bible clearly shows us that even though man possesses a soul and lives in a body, he is primarily a spirit.
So we can define man as a spirit, who has a soul, and lives in a body. The soul is the seat of our emotions, mind, and will. And the body is just our earth-suit. Your human spirit is the real you, and it’s the man God recognizes.
In our opening text, the Bible reveals that “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD…” Candle is a kind of light. By the aid of the candle, one is able to see that which is hidden in the dark. Like the candle, our human spirit is able to discover what God has prepared for us.
Paul said in 1Co 2:10 that, “…God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” So God communes with our human spirit. The Holy Spirit reveals things that God had prepared for us to our human spirit. And when we are able to grab them, they become ours. To be able to possess all that God has prepared for you, you must be able to receive them with your spirit. Your spirit becomes the candle that shows you what God has for you. This happens through a living communion with the Holy Spirit.
Your spirit can be activated to search, scan, and get to know what God has prepared for you and possess it. For this to happen, however, we must have a reasoning together relationship and affiliation with the Holy Ghost. The Psalmist said, “…I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.” *(Psa 77:6).
You can know what to do in every situation. You can know things supernaturally. You can know God’s will and walk in it. You can always make the right choices and decisions if you master the art of fellowshiping with the Holy Ghost. When you allow the Holy Ghost to mingle with your thoughts and reasoning, He activities your spirit to search out matters. Because you are joined to the Holy Ghost through fellowship, you become the same in thought and decisions – one spirit with Him *(1Cor 6:17).
So train yourself to have a great fellowship with the Holy Ghost. Spend quality time worshipping the Holy Spirit, especially in other tongues. Express your love to Him and adore Him. If you do, He’ll take your life and produce glory out of it for you. Hallelujah!

Precious Holy Spirit, I adore you today. You are the beauty of my life. You are the most adorable Person in my life. I thank you for your guidance. I choose to follow and love you every day of my life. I love you, Precious Holy Ghost.
