CROWNS AND DOORS
[[Rev 3:11]] KJV Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Jesus wrote a letter to the Philadelphian church and commended them for holding on to His word and not denying His name. It’s important to appreciate that heaven recognizes and commends our faith and steadfastness in serving the LORD and holding in to His word.
Rev 3:8 says, “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it⦔ God recognizes our works and opens doors of blessings to us. I declare an open door for you in Jesus’ name. Expect great doors to open to you. Doors mean access and entrance. God will cause you to access great opportunities and enter greater realms in Jesus’ name.
Finally, Jesus said to them to hold fast to what they have that no man take their crown. This immediately lets us know that another man can take your crown. Saul’s crown was taken by David. Vashsti’s crown was taken by Ester. Esau’s birthright was taken by Jacob. Judas’ bishopric was taken by Mathias. Another man can take your crown!
Whatever you do for God, hold fast to it. Serve with joy. Don’t let anyone discourage you to quit. Hold fast to what God has committed to you. Serve so well that no man takes your crown. The greatest harm you can do to yourself and generations yet unborn is to sow seeds and make sacrifices in life, only to desert your strategic position before harvest. When sacrifices are made, stability becomes a necessity. Don’t let another take your crown.
Prayer:
Dear LORD, Thank you for your love towards me and recognising my work for you. Please help me to hold fast to the work committed to me, that I may please you and keep my crown in Jesus’ name.
Thank you pastor for the word. Thank you Lord Jesus for your love and recognizing my work for you. I have learnt in your word that another man can take my place or crown π, Lord Jesus, please help me hold on to this work you have given to me that i may please you and keep my crown π. Glory!!!!!
Amen! Thank you, Pastor, for sharing this uplifting message. It’s a timely reminder that despite the challenges we face, we must hold on to our faith and not let circumstances dictate our actions. As my Lord and personal savior Jesus said to them to hold fast to what they have that no man take their crown., we can overcome.
Heavenly Father, I pray for the grace to persevere and not give up my crown for another. Help me to live each day with faith and trust in Your plan.
Thank you again, Pastor, for the faith-feeding word. It’s a blessing to our community!
Timothy, Barnabus, Peter, and Paul are immediate new testament vessels outside of the 4 Gospel account letters of Jesus’s life ..whose crown was not taken!
They worked thru the flesh, grew stronger thru adversity and trials…Paul stating, I have run the race, their is a crown laid up for me in heaven.
Thk you Felix for reminding us, to stand and develop the faith of Christ! Jesus settled in Himself, not my will, but Yours be done, Father.
And God, or what becomes revealed, the reality hidden is unveiled .. Jesus is given a name above every other name, that every knee will bow, every tongue confess, He is Lord! The love and bond in Christ Spirit was so strong, death and hell could not hold Jesus!
May we relate ourselves to His Light and see ourselves as He sees us.
As He is, so are we in the world: to witness to this New Creation Life that is Infinite, unbreakable, One as He and The Father are one! Blessed is His Righteous Name!
