DEVILS AND THE LIGHT

[[Psa 119:105]] KJV NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The word of God is light. Light is an expeller of darkness. When the word of God comes to you like it’s coming to you through this devotional, light enters you. This light expels all darkness. Hallelujah. The lights shines in the darkness, and darkness cannot comprehend it (Jh 1:3). Hallelujah! You don’t have to be worried about darkness; just turn on the light! Glory!

Unfortunately, many weary themselves trying to fight darkness some other means. Demons are darkness (Eph 6:12). And you don’t have to engage the devil or a demon in combat or war. All you need to do is to bring in the light. When you get ready to sleep you, don’t turn on the darkness. You rather turn off the light and darkness steps in. The simple truth is this: darkness only manifest when light refuse to shine. This explains the ordeals in the lives of many believers.

This is why God gave us His word. His word is light. As we open up ourselves to the word, and listen to the word, it gains entry into our lives. And the entrance of the word gives light (Ps 119:130). Hallelujah! As the word of God is entering you now, light is entering you and all darkness and devils is expelled now!

Jesus didn’t have to engage in so called spiritual warfare to cast out devils, He dealt with them by His word. Matthew 8:16 reminds us, “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.” Did you see that? Jesus cast out the spirits with His word. You don’t need a deliverance session. All you need is to allow the word of God to enter you, and the light will cast out the devils! Light has entered you now! Every darkness is gone in Jesus’ name! Glory!

Confession:
The light of God is shining in my heart. I live in the light. There’s no darkness in me. The light of God’s word breaks forth in my heart. Hallelujah! I’m shining!
