DOMINATING THE AION
[[Gal 1:4]] KJV Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
In the above, Paul the apostle unravels a deep mystery about Jesus’ substitutionary death for us. He makes it clear that Jesus died for our sins in order to deliver us from this present evil world. Here, Paul is not talking about this physical world, but rather the systemized order of this world.
‘World’ in the above is “aion” in Greek, and it means a system or order. Aion deals with the systems that govern the present world. For example, the political systems and the Babylonian financial system which are designed to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. These systems were not put in place by God. All these systems that govern our world today were put in place by the devil. This is why Satan is referred to as “the god of this world” *(2Co 4:4). This doesn’t mean Satan created or owns the world. Rather, it means he is the god of the aion – the systems of the world. In order words, these systems serve and worship the devil.
The systems of this world promotes evil, makes the poor poorer and programs man not to depend on God but on himself for everything. This system put the masses under bondage because they have no power. But glory to God, through Christ’s death, we are delivered from this present world-order. We do not depend on politicians to survive. The financial system of this world can’t hinder your prosperity. Your God supplies all your needs according to His riches in glory. Hallelujah!
Dear friend, you are not in bondage of the world’s systemized order: you are here to dominate it. Glory to God! Greater is He that’s in you. You are bigger than your world. Your God sustains and provides for your every need. Hallelujah! You live above the systems. You are elevated beyond the scope of human limitations. Glory to God!
Confession:
I’m above all things. I live above the systems of this world. No weapon fashion against me shall prosper. I dominate the systems of this world. Glory to God! I live from above.
