ENDING THE YEAR PLEASING THE LORD

[[Psa 65:11]] KJV Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.

The above scripture shows us a mystry about God. God crowns the year with His goodness. The ending of the years is when all of God’s goodness is brought into full manifestation in our lives. In other words, as the years us getting to an end, there must be more of God’s goodness in our lives.

‘Goodness’ is ‘tob’ in Hebrew, which means favour, prosperity, kindness, pleasure, sweetness, wealth, and pleasing. Many times, we focus or look out for the prosperity, sweetness, wealth, and all that goodness. But what we fail to consider also is the word ‘pleasing.”’ God doesn’t only crown our year with prosperity, but also by causing our heart to please Him.

The ending of the year is that season in our lives when we must seek to please God more. This is the time we must seek to align more with His will and plans for ourselves. It is the time to seek the LORD passionately. This is the moment to look at all that the LORD has done for us, and seek more to live for Him and to please Him more. This is that time to take your ministry and walk with God to the next level.

We must determine to crown this year in holy hunger for the LORD. Crown the year seeking the LORD more deeply. End this year with your prayer life going to the next level. Like the Psalmist, our heart and soul must cry out for the LORD. The end of the year is when we must decide to quit certain lifestyles and please the LORD. End this year pleasing the LORD

Prayer:
LORD, I love and adore you. Thank you for opening my heart to seek you more. I receive the grace to overpower my flesh and to walk with you even more closely, seeking you intimately and loving you passionately. Thank you, LORD.
