ETERNAL LIFE
[[1Jn 5:13]] KJV These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
The church of Jesus must come to that place in our walk with God where we know (not assuming) that we already have eternal life. Eternal life is the God-life. It’s the life that cannot die. We were born again in Christ with an incorruptible seed *(1Pet1:23). So we have a life that is corruption-free. Free from death. Hallelujah!
Romans 8:2 emphasised that the law of the spirit of this supernatural life we have received in Christ Jesus HAS MADE US FREE from the law of sin and death. Sin and death is a law pass upon every man because of the sin of Adam. Romans 5:12 clarifies, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” All men are declared sinner by law and liable to death because the wages of sin is this *(Rom 6:23).
Notwithstanding, if a man be in Christ, the law of the spirit of life he receives from Christ makes him free from sin and death. This is only possible because eternal life is resident in him. You CANNOT DIE if you have eternal life. Glory to God! Boldly declare now that “I have eternal life!” Hallelujah! This is why Jesus came: to make eternal life possible for every man to have. Eternal life is “…life to the overflowing! *(John 10:10 AMP).
Our opening text say we have to KNOW that we HAVE eternal life. Glory! Never forget that. Know that your type of life is different from others. You have eternal life. You have passed from death to life *(John 5:24). Now you live in life. Hallelujah! And nothing can take your life from you. In Christ, you have defeated death. You have eternal life right NOW! Hallelujah!! And you must know it!
Confession:
I have eternal life. There is divine life in me. Nothing can cut off my life. I live from Christ. I’m immortal. Glory to God! The life of God is inside me, working effectively in me. Hallelujah!
