HEARING GOD’S VOICE
[[Rom 9:1]] AKJV I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
Learning to hear and follow the voice of God is the most powerful thing that can happen to the child of God. As we follow the voice of God, we operate by advance knowledge, and we have divine direction in life. You can not walk into evil, failure, or misfortunes if you follow God’s voice. Glory to God! In this day and age, God wants to lead us.
When our hears are opened to hear God’s voice, life becomes easy. The truth is that God is always speaking, but we fail to hear Him because we do not know how. Isaiah 30:21declares, “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way, walk you in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left.” As God’s children, our hears are supposed to hear God’s voice.
One of the ways you get to know and hear the voice of God is through our conscience or what the Bible calls ‘Still small voice.” That is the voice of your recreated human spirit. The Holy Ghost living in you speaks the same things your recreated human spirit speaks. They bear the same witness. God does not speak to your mind, soul, or body: God speaks to your spirit.
Paul confirms this in our opening text when he says, “My conscience bear me witness in the Holy Ghost.” What he was saying is that his conscience (inner voice) and the Holy Ghost speak the same things. In other words, the Holy Ghost speaks to us through the still small voice in us. So God’s voice is not far from you: it’s within you. Hallelujah! And you can know what God is saying any day. Praise God!
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your word, I’m enlightened. I hear and follow your voice. Hallelujah! I receive divine directions from you. I can’t miss my way in Jesus’ name.
