HELP IS COMING

[[Act 18:9]] KJV Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
*For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

Paul, the apostle, had faced much persecution and frustrations in the ministry almost in every city he went to. Now, he was almost discouraged, but the Lord spoke to him in a vision not to be afraid or hold his peace. God assured him, saying, “For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.”

Many times, challenges overwhelm you until you begin to think you are all alone. Elijah found himself in a similar situation. Perused by Jezebel, the man of God fled for his life and prayed; “…It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers” *(1Ki 19:4). Elijah wanted to end it all. He thought he was alone. He contended:

[[1Ki 19:10]] KJV…I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

God, however, assured him that he was not alone. There were seven thousand in his company who he didn’t know *(1Ki 19:18). When the Syrians surrounded the city with chariots to take the life of Elisha, his servant was griped with fear, but when “the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” (2Ki 6:17).

You are not alone. Your lovers are more than your enemies. Those with you are more than those against you. Your helpers exceed your destroyers. You are not alone. So don’t give up. Don’t throw in the towel. God has a remnant reserved for you. I see them coming to your aid. Help is coming. Glory! Help is on the way! Hallelujah!

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your love towards me. You have not left me alone. You are with me, and you have also appointed men to my aid. I worship and adore you for your provision for me. I thank you for the helpers you’ve assigned to me, I a receive them in Jesus’ name
