THE BIGGEST SECRET
[[1Pe 3:10]] KJV For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
In the above is the secret to longevity, health and goodness. One can literally prolong his or her life on earth and saturate that life with overflowing goodness. The ‘how’ is simply: keep your tongue from speaking evil and guile.
Guile is deceptiveness, deceit, dishonesty, duplicity or lies. The NLT says, “For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies” (1Pet 3:10 -NLT). You see, God shows us through His word that we can determine the kind of life we’ll have. Your tongue is the author of your life.
If good is going to come to you, you must be determined never to speak evil about yourself or your situations. Don’t say things like “I don’t have money.” This is not denying the facts of life, rather it’s living from the supernatural. You are a God-being. When you speak, you create.
The other thing to watch is lies. Many believers don’t see anything wrong with telling lies. Lies determines whether or not you are going to see good days and live long. It’s almost like you cut your life short and worsen your circumstances each time you tell lies. No one is born to speak the truth at all times; being truthful and honest is a decision.
From today, make a quality decision to tell the truth all the time no matter what it may cost you. The truth makes free (Joh 8:32). Train yourself always to speak good things about yourself. Speak no evil, tell no lies, and activate longevity, health and good days. Welcome to the best days of your life. Glory to God!
