THE FAITHFUL WITNESS

[[Rev 1:5]] KJV And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

In the above, we are told that Jesus is THE FAITHFUL WITNESS. The Greek is “pistos martus,” which means ONE WHOSE LEGAL WITNESS IS WORTHY OF TRUST AND TRUTHFUL. You see, many things try to define us in life. There are many witnesses witnessing one thing or the other about us. They have their own reports and opinions about who we can or will become. But Jesus is THE FAITHFUL WITNESS! Glory to God!

Jesus’ witness is the truth. What He testifies in His word about you, about your health, and about the circumstances of your life is FAITHFUL, TRUE, and WORTHY OF TRUST. And you can stick your life on it. Hallelujah!

This is why Isaiah explaimed; “Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed” *(Isaiah 53:1). The doctors have a report. Spectators have an opinion. Onlookers have a perception about you, but God also has a report about you. No wonder Isaiah questioned; “Who has believed the report of the LORD?” Jesus is a witness that you are healed. He’s a witness that you can do all things. He testifies to the divine life encapsulated in your spirit. Hallelujah!

This is why you must train yourself to build your life on God’s report. Let the witness of the Faithful Witness consume you. You do this by saturating your mind with God’s word. God’s word is God’s report. Every day, the media and our environment try to send a report about us. This is why we must fill our minds and heart with God’s report. Listen to tapes, CDs and read materials that will enrich your faith. That is how to establish your life on the witness of the Faithful Witness. Glory!

Confession:
I’m who God says I’m. I believe the witness of Jesus. My life is established on it. I live from victory everyday, triumphing and dominating the situations and circumstances around me. I’m not what the world say I’m; am what the word says I’m. Glory!
