THE SECRET PLACE
[[Psa 91:1]] AKJV He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
When we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, we are shielded. The shadow of the Almighty God hides us from all evil. Glory to God! The secret place is that place where you meet God in prayer. It’s the place of strength and the habitation of intimacy with divinity. Hallelujah!
You must have a secret place where you and God meet to fellowship. Jesus retreated in a garden called Gethsemane with His disciples to pray *(Mar 14:32). John recalls, “When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples” *(Job 18:1). This was their secret place.
This was the place where He generated spiritual power. You, too, must have a secret place where you abide in prayer. Prayer can be done anywhere. There are no limitations. But the secret place is more than just for prayer. It’s the place of intimacy. Notice that the Bible said, “He who dwells in the secret place⦔ It’s not about having a secret place; it’s about dwelling there. You must always tarry in your secret place of prayer.
That’s the place where victories are enforced. It’s the place where we are shielded. It’s the place of prayer. It’s the place of intimacy and fellowship. It’s the place where you rob mind with the divine. Hallelujah! Get a secret place, abide there in prayer, and you’ll be stunned by the enormous virtue that will emanate from you by God. Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Thank you, dear God, for showing me mysteries through your word. I do the word. Help me to put a secret that together where I meet you. Thank you, Father, in Jesus’ name.
