THE STARTER AND ENDER

[[Phi 1:6]] AKJV Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

The Apostle Paul boldly verbalized his confidence. He contended that once God has started a good work in a man, He will also perform it. God is a starter, a beginner, and a finisher. Genesis 2:2 says, “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested…” This suggests that God does not rest unless He has finished what He starts. Hallelujah!

In Revelation 1:8, Jesus declared: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending…” Alpha is the first letter in the Greek alphabet, and Omega is the last. In English, Jesus actually said, “I am ‘A’ and ‘Z.’ He begins and ends everything. Glory to God. I’m glad to announce to you that your God is the beginner and ender. What He has started, He will perform.

This is why Paul was confident. You must have the same confidence, too. You must know that God will not leave you halfway. Neither will He make you rather finish what He started. What He started in you, He will without fail perform and perfect it. Hallelujah! Destiny will not end here. God will not leave you hanging. No matter what happens, He will finish what He started in you. Glory.

Today, brighten up your countenance. Square your shoulders up. Stand tall. And know that your God is coming through for you. The fact that He started something is proof that He will also finish it. He is the starter and the ender. Hallelujah! Get ready for finishing touches. Get ready for beautification. Glory to God!

Prayer:
Dear God, I adore you for your goodness in my life. Thank you for what you have started in me. Thank you for your work of grace in me. I also thank you in advance for finishing what you started in me. Hallelujah!
