THERE IS MUCH MORE
[[Heb 6:9]] But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
In the above, the writer pours out his hopes for God’s people. He affirms his persuasion concerning the brethren: he declared, “We are persuaded better things of you…” He was persuaded of better things ahead.
Destiny cannot stop here. There are better things ahead of you. What you may be faced with at this moment of your life is just a cloud passing away. The sun is still shining behind the clouds. It may look dark and gloomy. Notwithstanding, it’s just a matter of time, and the sun will shine again.
In our opening text, the writer encouraged the brethren that he was persuaded of better things for them. Then he explained to them that those better things are the things that ACCOMPANY SALVATION. You see, salvation is more than just repentance and forgiveness of sin. There’s more. There are things that accompany salvation.
The word ‘salvation’ is from the original Greek word ‘soteria’, which means PROSPERITY, HEALING, HEALTH, PEACE, PROTECTION, SAFETY, REDEMPTION, the list goes on. After salvation, all these are supposed to follow. Poverty after salvation is not of God. Sickness and pain after salvation are not God’s plan either. GOD WILL NOT BRING BACK WHAT HE REDEEMED YOU FROM IN CHRIST TO HUMBLE YOU. If God wants to humble you, He has better ways to do that than to contradict His word.
The primary reason why God’s people suffer unreasonably is because of their ignorance. The bible says, “The lack of knowledge my people perish.” God’s people don’t suffer because Satan is stronger but rather because they don’t know better.
Life after salvation is meant to be glorious. The lack of knowledge of this truth unfortunately has kept countless of God’s people in captivity. Many are suffering from what they have already been delivered from. But you are different. You shall not go down the drain. Refuse to bow to the statusque. Refuse to settle for less. There is more for you after salvation. And that will be your only experience. Only believe!

Father, I thank you for enlightening me through your word. I declare in Jesus’ name that my life is going to the next level. I claim my salvation rights and all the better things that accompany my salvation today. I declare they are mine, and I walk in them. I reject ignorance, and I embrace my glorious life in Christ Jesus today!
