UNTIE GOD’S HANDS
[[Job 1:10]] KJV Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
The above is Satan’s testimony of what God had done for Job. Satan contended that God had hedged and fortified Job round about, and all that he had on every side. Satan also attested to the fact that God had blessed the work of Job’s hand, and increased his substance and wealth. Satan couldn’t touch Job because he was well defended.
Unfortunately, Job didn’t see things the same way. Job 1:5 reveals that Job would “…rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all (his children): for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.” This was Job’s practice daily. He didn’t know the God had hedged not only him, but all that he had also, including his kids.
Job feared. He didn’t see what God had done for him. His faith drifted. He entertained fear of maybe loosing his children. And that’s exactly what happened. You see, in spite of God blessings and protection, we can tie God’s hands with our fear and anxiety until He is unable to help us. Job later lamented, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me” (Job 3:25).
God knew Job was protected. Satan attested to the fact that Job was hedged round about. Sadly, Job didn’t know. He feared. Many believers find themselves in the same situation. They are unaware of what God has accomplished for them in Christ Jesus. Discover who you are in Christ. Stop the fear. Start to faith, and untie God’s hand to intervene. Hallelujah!

Dear God I thank you for your word today. I refuse to fear. I walk in faith. I live in the consciousness of your accomplished works for me in Christ. I live from victory in Jesus’ name.
