WHAT IT MEANS TO BE IN CHRIST
*[[2Co 5:17]] KJV Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
The above says, ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new creation…’ Important things to note in the above: 1. Christ is a place. God’s new creation must first be in Christ. We must dwell in that place called Christ. The Bible says, in Him we live, and move, and have our being (Act 17:28). So the place we live now as God’s new creation is called Christ.
2. We are God’s new creation. New Creation from the Greek means a new species of being. That is to say, we are a new type of organism or being that never existed. When you give your heart to Christ, you become a brand new, novel creature. Novel means something new that never existed before. You are now a new type of being in Christ. You are more than a mere man. What defeats men must not defeat you.
3. Old things are passed away. Anything that was in your previous life before you gave your heart to Christ has passed away. Your old lifestyle has passed away. You can’t live like that anymore. You can’t be under a generational curse in Christ. The domain of darkness is broken and passed away in your life once you give your heart to Christ.
4. All things are become new. You have a new life. You can have a new kidney. You have a new heart now. You have a new organ which can’t be destroyed by diseases and sicknesses. You have a new mind that is super intelligent. Glory to God. This is the truth, but for them to become a reality in your life, you must believe them and walk in the consciousness of it. Walk out this morning, knowing that you live beyond the scope of human limitations. Hallelujah!
Confession:
I am God’s new creation. I’m a new type of being. I’m special and blessed. I’m super intelligent. I walk in excellence. What defeats men can’t defeat me. I walk in glory. No sickness or disease can thrive in me. I’m blessed. Glory!!!
