LET GOD BE TRUE

[[Rom 3:4]] KJV God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

In the above, we are admonished by Paul to let God be true. Please note the use of the word “let.” It suggests that we have the responsibility of LETTING God be true in our lives.

God being true in your life means God’s word becoming true and producing its results in your life because God and His word are one. So how do you let God be true and men be liers in your life? For example, God’s word says you are healed but the doctor’s report (men) may be the opposite. How do you manifest God’s truth in your life against the prevailing report of men?

The answer still lies in our opening text. Paul said, “let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings…” We make God true by our saying or better still, our confession. What you say will permit or prevent God’s word from manifesting in your life.

Jesus said in Mathew 12:37, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” This means that a man will either go to heaven or hell based on what he said or did not say. Friend, your words are powerful. What you say is what you get.

So spend time speaking God’s word about yourself and into your life. Make God’s word true in your life today. Scatter the judgments of men by reinforcing God’s word in your life through your confession. I see what men said about you falling flat before their faces. Your word will prevail!

Confession:
I live in the reality of God’s word. Am a victor. Am healthy and strong. Am blessed in all that I do. God’s word is true in my life, manifesting in all that I do in Jesus’ name!
