GOD CAN GIVE YOU PEOPLE
[[Act 27:24]] KJV Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
Paul appealed to Caesar when he was tried before Agrippa and Festus. He was then put on a ship to go to Rome to be tried by Caesar. In the midst of the voyage, they were caught up in a deadly storm that cause their shipwreck.
However, the angel of the LORD had appeared to Paul the night before and assured him that no one will lose his life on board, and that he will surely appear before Caesar. But the stricking part is that, the angel told Paul, ‘God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.’
Paul was not the captain of the ship. As a matter of fact, he was a prisoner being transported to Rome. Yet, God gave him the lives of all them that sailed with him, including the captain of the ship. God can give you people.
The lives of the people in the office where you work can be given to you by God. God can give you the people in your catchment, area, institution, and nation for their salvation. All souls belong to God. And He can give them to your church or ecclesia.
Psalm 2:8 says, ‘Ask of me, and I shall give thee the nations for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.’ God can give us cities and nations for their salvation if we only ask. May crowds follow you to the LORD. May nations be given to you. May you be a gatherer of cities in Jesus’ name.
Prayer:
LORD thank you for your word today. You will give me nations if I ask. I ask that you give me the people in my zone and catchment. Let them come following me joyfully to church every Sunday. Give me my friends that I may lead them to church in Jesus’ name.
