JEALOUSLY LOVED

[[Nah 1:2]] KJV God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

The verse of scripture above have not been looked into critically by many of God’s people so they cultivate the wrong mind-set about God. They see God as a furious angry revenger who will burn sinners in hell. Whereas it’s true that the the sinner will end up in hell, it’s is of paramount importance to understand that a Christian is NOT a sinner or who the bible call ” THE WICKED.”

You see, God define things by their nature. That’s why we may all look different in the physical but we are by nature children of God and are made in Him image and likeness. So a Christian may commit sin because he or she is not matured in the things of God, notwithstanding, that doesn’t make him or her a sinner because that’s not his nature.

God is a jealous God. But His jealousy is NOT towards us but over us. That means that God loves you so much, and He’s jealous over you. And He won’t let anyone have you apart from Him.

Also, if you look at our opening text very well, it says “He reserveth wrath for his enemies.” So God is furious and wrath, but not against you because you are His child. He reserves His wrath for his enemies. If you are born again, you have escaped the wrath of God. Glory! You live in His love. And that love watches over you jealously. I’m glad to announce to you that you are JEALOUSLY LOVED by God. Hallelujah!

Prayer:
Dear Father I thank you for your great love for me. You jealously watch over me to deliver me from evil. Thank you for your great mercy towards me everyday. I love you more than my very life. Thank you Jesus!
