SUPERNATURAL EXEMPTION

[[Ecc 6:11]] BBE There are words without number for increasing what is to no purpose, but what is man profited by them?

The things that try to defeat and frustrate man are more than those that build and empower man. This is what makes life appear to be difficult to some. The reason is because they see or experience more negatives than the positives of life. Many things seek to make man end up without purpose. King James Version of the above text reads: “…there be many things that increase vanity…” Vanity means emptiness. It actually denotes vapour in Hebrew.

What the writer is actually inferring here is that many things try to make us amount to nothing. There are many situations designed to kill your dream and render your vision fruitless. The systems of this world are programmed to ensure the defeat of the masses. The system makes many poor and very few rich. Jesus said, “…the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it” *(Mat 7:13). The path to destruction swallows multitudes.

But in Christ, you are exempted! Glory to God! You shall “…run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall” *(Psa 18:29). Nothing shall be able to impede you. You are irresistible! You shall leap over walls. What destroy others can’t touch you. Like Noah, the same flood that drowns everything will set you on top of the mountain. The thing that destroys the masses shall keep you alive. Your life is preserved in Christ.

God will enlarge your feet. You’ll not slip. The Psamlist understood this. He declared: “Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip” *(Psa 18:36). Please never make the mistake of counting yourself among the masses. You are in the world, but you are not of the world. Your life is hidden in Christ. Evil shall not come near your dwelling. Only believe!

[[Psa 91:10]] ISV no evil will fall upon you, and no affliction will approach your tent,

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your great salvation. You have preserved my life in you. You are my shield. Nothing shall impede me. I reign through you. Glory!
