THEY THAT WAIT ON THE LORD

[[Isa 40:31]] AKJV But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Waiting on the LORD generates renewal of strength. ‘Renew’ here is the Hebrew “Chalaph” meaning, TO CUT OFF, TO GO ON FORWARD, and TO ALTER CHANGE. When you make time to wait on the LORD through prayer and fasting, you renew your strength: you cut off the wrong things from your life, you advance by going forward, and alter changes in any area in your life.

The above let’s us know that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength like the eagle. The eagle undergoes molting; a period when it goes to the mountaintop, plug off its old feathers, talons and beak. And waits there until new and stronger ones grows to replace the plugged out ones. The eagle’s renews its strength.

Like the eagle, as we wait upon the LORD in prayer with fasting, our strength, vitality, spirituality, and even our very lives are renewed and reinvigorated. We can renew our spirituality, health, cognitive abilities, and all that concerns us as we make time to wait on the LORD. Hallelujah!

Notice that the Bible didn’t say God shall renew our strength. It said, those that wait on the LORD, THEY shall renew THEIR strength. Renewing your strength is something you accomplish yourself in your walk with God. Glory to God! You can actually determine your capacity in every area of life when you wait on the LORD. Glory!

Prayer:
Dear God, I wait on you. I receive from you the capacity to be renewed in every area of my life as I wait on you. Thank you for the renewal of strength in Jesus’ name.
