DISPENSER OF PEACE
[[Luk 10:5, 6]] KJV And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
*And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
In the above, Jesus is sending His disciples (including us) to go and reach others with the gospel. He tells us that as we enter a house, our greeting should be ‘Peace be to this house.”
Peace from the Greek, ‘eirene’, means security, safety, prosperity, and felicity (because peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous). Jesus said as we enter a house, we should tell the people in the house that “Peace has come to the house.” In other words, you are a dispenser of supernatural peace. You carry divine security, safety, prosperity, and felicity within you.
As a child of God, you are not ordinary. You carry something. When you enter an office or get employed in a firm, they didn’t help you; they are rather privileged for you to join their firm. You are the saviour they’ve been praying for.
The other thing is that you need the boldness to speak forth what Jesus said to say. When you enter people’s homes, tell them that they are blessed because of your presence. This is not arrogance: you are simply obeying your Master. As a matter of fact, it’s rather arrogance to disobey your Lord.
You are a prosperity dispenser. You are a distributor of divine security and protection. You are an atmosphere changer. You shouldn’t seek prosperity: you carry it within. From hence, do what Jesus said to do; carry divine peace everywhere you go. And let the people know it when you arrive. Glory! You are the hope of your world.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I am so blessed in all that I do. And it’s because of your grace and love. I receive all that you have accomplished through Christ for me. I declare that I am a dispenser of divine peace in Jesus’s name. Amen.
