WHY WE MUST BRING EVERYONE TO CHURCH
[[Rev 9:6]] KJV And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
Death is an enemy of mankind. And every effort of man is in an attempt to fight off death. Science, medicine, technology, and religion are all in the quest to defeat death or deal with it in one way or another. Our opening text, however, reveals a shocking moment that’s about to befall man.
John the Beloved saw in a vision the times after the rapture of the church when men and women will desperately seek death. John said, “And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.” This is because of the great tribulations that’s about to come upon the earth after all Christians are raptured away from the earth.
Great peril is about to come upon the earth. The torture it’ll bring along can not be imagined. For example, John saw creatures like locusts with hair like women, teeth like lions, and moves like the horse. Rev 9:10 says, “And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.” Unfortunately, many are not aware that such torment await mankind. This is why we preach, persuading all men to be saved. Paul puts it this way:
[[2Co 5:11]] KJV Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
This is why we preach. Be the reason why someone will not go through this pending torture. God loves all men, and He’s counting on us to warn our generation and save our world. Will you answer the call? Today, be challenged by God’s word to preach to others about God’s salvation through Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your word today. I receive the grace to reach my world for the Master, warning all men and bringing them to salvation through Christ.
