GOD, WHO CANNOT LIE

[[Tit 1:2]] KJV In hope of eternal life, which God, that can not lie, promised before the world began;

Eternal life is the God-life. It’s an incorruptible life. And God, who can not lie, promised us to give this life. Glory to God! Many think that Christianity is a myth. They find it hard to believe the stories and especially the miracles and wonders that are recorded in the bible. They use their minds to try to reason out the scriptures, only to find that the scriptures are bigger than their minds.

Following God goes beyond the mind: it’s a heart thing. You must believe. And our faith and belief is not just founded on God’s word but His integrity. Faith must be founded on the fact that God CAN NOT lie. Please note that the Bible didn’t say,’God does not lie’ or ‘God would not lie.”’ The Bible said, ‘God…CANNOT lie.” That is a capability challenge. It is the God-challenge. Many see God as one who can do all things. But that is not so true because there are things God CAN NOT do. If He ties them, He’ll fail. One of such is lies. God can not lie.

This must be the foundation of faith in God. The reason is that if God can not lie, it suggests that His promises must be sure. In order words, what He says will not and can not fail. This integrity of God is what gives credence to His word: if God can not lie, them His word can not fail. Hallelujah! So you can trust His word because what He says is true. Glory!

Beyond the bible, God’s integrity is still intact. This means that what God tells you personally or prophetically can not fail. Circumstances and challenges will come and go, but in the end, His word will be fulfilled. So refuse to fluctuate in faith. Be deeply rooted and grounded in the integrity of God and His word. Keep faith alive. And be expectant; always looking forward in faith to see the word of God fulfilled in your life. Glory to God! God can not lie. So only believe.

Confession:
My faith is founded on the integrity of God and His word. All things work together for my good. The word of God is alive and functions in me. Everything lines up with God’s word in my life. Hallelujah!
