YOUR POSITION AND YOUR PERCEPTION
[[Eph 2:6]] AMP :And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
Here is one of the biggest truth about the believer or better still the Christian. In our opening text, Paul the apostle through the Holy Ghost reveals our true identity and position in Christ Jesus. And we are told in the above that we are raised up by Almighty God together with Christ.
You are not your earthly experiences. We are raised up together with Christ. Our position is an elevated one. We live in the ‘Christ’ realm. Hallelujah! But it doesn’t end there: we are also made to sit together with Christ in heavenly places. We have a joint seating with the glorified Christ. Glory!
This is our position, not just in the realm of the spirit, but must also be in reality. If anyone tells you that a demon is seating on your life, business, marriage, breakthrough or things like that, you must know straight away that such a person didn’t hear from God! As far as God is concerned, you are seated in heavenly places far above all principality and power *(Eph 1:21).
The challenge is our perception of life. Your position in Christ and perception of life much line up. They must synchronise. When they do, your present earthly status will change. Hallelujah! Today, God through His word is challenging you to see life differently. See from the God-perspective. See yourself as God sees you: this is how to appropriate your divine position in the natural. You are elevated. You are not ordinary. You are JOINED TOGETHER with Christ. The EEV version is just awesome:
[[Eph 2:6]] EasyEnglish Also, God raised us up with Christ and he caused us to sit with Christ in heaven. God has done these things because he has joined us with Christ Jesus.
Confession:
I’m elevated beyond the scope of human limitations. I live from above. I’m seated together with Christ. I’m above all things. Glory to God! I cannot go down. I cannot fail in life. I live the up life.
