HOW TO DO THE WORD
[[2Sa 3:18]] KJV Now then do it: for the LORD hath spoken…
When God speaks to us, He tells us what He knows that we can do. The word of God is not just for our hearing but rather for our doing. God speaks His word; we do the word. In our opening text, says, “Now then do it: for the LORD hath spoken…” When God speaks, ours is to do what He has said.
As a ministry, the word of the LORD has come to us concerning this year: it’s our year of THE RISING ARMY. God has spoken, now we must do it. The next question is how to do the word. Deuteronomy has the answer. In Deuteronomy 30:14, the Bible clearly states, “But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it”.
Two things are important in order to do the word: 1. The word must be in you heart. Your heart is your spirit. You must receive God’s word for the year with your spirit. Accept it. Believe that God was speaking to you personally to be a part of the rising army.
- Put the word on your lips. The word must be in your mouth. Declare to yourself that your are the army God is raising. In Romans 10, Apostle Paul quoted the above scripture to show us the way of salvation. He was persuaded that if we believe God’s word with our heart and confess it with our mouth, we shall be saved (Rom 10:8,9).
In the same way, believing the word with your spirit and confessing it with your mouth you into alignment with God’s plans. See yourself as the army God is raising. Win in Jesus’ name.
Confession:
I am full of God’s word. The word of God is alive in me producing the right results in me. This is my year THE RISING ARMY. I believe it with my spirit. I declare raising me me for His use only in Jesus’s name.
