LAMBANO: POSSESSING YOUR POSSESSION

[[Nah 2:9]] BBE Take silver, take gold; for there is no end to the store; take for yourselves a weight of things to be desired.

God’s abundance cannot be exhausted. In our opening text, the bible says “THERE IS NO END TO THE STORE.” The store house of God’s treasury has no end. God has more than enough for you. Glory!

Sadly, God’s people fail to take what God has provided for them. Some are rather waiting for God to come and drop things into their hands. They think that God Himself will come and drop money into their hands like He rained down manna in the days of old. Whereas this doesn’t constitute biblical error, God, however, expect us to take for ourselves what He’s provided for us.

God said, “Take silver, take gold….TAKE FOR YOURSELVES a weight of things to be desired.” Are there things you desire to have? God has them in His treasury. And He invites you to come and take for yourself.

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” *(Mat 11:12). The violent take it! God wants you to take what He’s made available for you. To take is “Lambano” in Greek, which means TO SEIZE or TO TAKE HOLD OF SOMETHING AND MAKE IT YOURS.

In our opening text, God tells us to take for ourselves “The weight (quantity and amount) of things to be desired.” You decide how much of God’s blessings you can have in your life. One of the hallmark of the church is that “upon mount Zion (the church)…they shall POSSES THEIR POSSESSION *(Oba 1:17).” God wants you to possess your possession. He wants you to LAMBANO the blessing and make it yours. So reach out in faith today and posses all that God has provided for you! Hallelujah!!

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your word. The bible says all things are mine. And right now, in the name of Jesus, I take possession of my kingdom benefits. I lay hold on all that you have accomplished for me in Christ Jesus, and I make them mine! Glory!
