GOD WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH
[[Mic 7:8]] KJV Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.
Failure is not when we fall but when we fail to get up after we have fallen. Challenges come to all men. But we must not be overpowered. Rather, we must overcome them because we are born of God. Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world *(1John 5:4). I see you overcoming every challenge in Jesus’ name!
In our opening text, the people of God seemed to have been forgotten by God because of their iniquity. They had become a by-word and a reproach. It looked as though the enemy had the victory. But the prophet of God boldly proclaimed under the anointing: he cautioned the enemy; “Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.”
As a child of God, you must know that you cannot be disadvantaged in any situation. When you get into trouble, that will not be your end. If the enemy laughs at you now, he’ll be frustrated because God will turn your situation around. And you will laugh at last. And he who laughs last laughs best.
Don’t be discouraged by whatever condition you find yourself in right now. When you fall, you shall rise again. Even when you sit in darkness, in the midst of the darkness, the LORD will be your light. He said He’ll never leave you nor forsake you *(Heb 13:5). God’s presence is always with you no matter what you find yourself in. So don’t give up. Things are just about to turn around in your favour.
God will make you laugh. God Himself will join you to laugh. The Psalmist knew this. He had seen God overturn the evil imaginations of the wicked. He said, “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision *(Psalms 2:4).
Whatever you are going through is a set up by God for your lift-up. God has set the enemy up to make you laugh. God Himself is laughing. And God is about to make you laugh. So let them laugh now because you’ll laugh last. And that’s the best laugh. This week, God will make you laugh! Hahaha! Glory!
Prayer:
Father I thank you for your word today. Thank you for causing all things to work for my good. Thank you for filling my mouth with laughter and my tongue with singing. You have made me a wonder. Hahahahahaha! Glory!
