OBTAINING GOD’S BEST BY FAITH

[[Heb 3:19]] So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

The Apostle Peter in his epistle makes it clear that God has already given us ALL THINGS THAT WE WILL NEED IN LIFE. In 2 Peter 1:3, he declared, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” According to the text, everything that pertains to our life both physically and spiritually are already given to us by God.

Many of God’s people have not yet understood these things so they keep asking God to give them what He has already given them. They pray amiss. They ask for the wrong things.

Everything you need is already given to you. In the above, Peter stated that all things are given to us THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD -The word. In order words, to get what God has given you, get the word. The more of God’s knowledge you have, the more of God’s already given promises you’ll have.

In our opening text, we noticed that the children of Israel could not enter into God’s promised land for them because of unbelief. The same is true about us today. Even though God has already given us all things, through unbelief, we can stop ourselves from accessing these blessings. And through faith, we lay hold on those things that God has given to us.

You don’t have to pray for what God has given you. All you need to do is to take them by faith. To have faith, you must get the word. This is why being in every church service and cell meeting is important. You get exposed to the word which gives you faith to get what God has given you.

Reject unbelief and enter God’s promises for you. Expose yourself to the word everyday and allow faith to come alive in you for your every need. Refuse to settle for less. You can have God’s best today. Everything you’ll need today is already given to you. Lay hold on them through faith and enjoy the good life in Christ Jesus.

I thank you Lord for your word today. I declare that all things are mine. I have all I will ever need for any project and anything I need to accomplish. I release my faith and I lay hold on all that God has made available for me today in Jesus ‘ name!
