THIS IS WISDOM
[[Pro 11:30]] KJV The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. Fruit is results. In order words, the results of being righteous is that you partake of the tree of life. The tree of life is a tree that bear twelve kinds of fruits and it leaves is for the healing of the nations (Rev 22:2). When one eats of the tree of life, the spiritual state of the person is made permanent. This is why God had to cast Adam and Eve out of the garden of Eden after they fell to sin, else if they had eaten of the tree of life in the garden, their state as fallen beings would have been permanent without hope of redemption (Gen 3:22).
This is the fruit of righteousness. Hallelujah! Our righteousness which is a gift of salvation is not in vain. One day, all the virtues and the blessings of our salvation and righteousness will become our permanent lifestyle. There’ll be no more sins, weaknesses, pain and sorrows (Rev 21:4). Glory to God! We’ll be free to love and serve God for ever. Hallelujah!
This is why soul winning is wise: we give others the opportunity to partake of the tree of life and walk in the blessings and glorified virtues of salvation for all eternity. Glory! This is wisdom. Wisdom is bringing others into the blessing you’ve found. Wisdom is making the lives of others better for eternity. And this is why we must win souls and bring them to the knowledge of Christ.
We are called to win souls. We have a mandate to bring salvation to the sinner. We are God’s agents of salvation. And we must partner with God in evangelism. Today, be wise. Win souls. Notice that the bible didn’t say, he that makes more money is wise, or even, he that acquires more knowledge is wise. In spite of the relevance of all these, God’s definition of wisdom is the ability to win souls. So get wise: win a soul today. Glory!
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I answer the call to win souls. I receive the grace to reach out to my world with the word of God. Today, grant me opportunities to win a soul. I want touch lives for you in Jesus’ name. Amen.
