THE THREE THINGS
[[Act 18:9]] KJV Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
In the midst of persecution, the LORD spoke three things to Paul in a vision: 1. Be not afraid. 2. Speak or preach. And 3. Hold not thy peace, or do not stop. These are the same three things God expect of us.
Dear reader, God is talking to you now like He spoke to Paul. Firstly, the LORD is saying, don’t be afraid. Fear stops people from sharing the gospel. So don’t be afraid. Don’t be afraid that you wouldn’t know what to say.
Don’t be afraid that people won’t listen to you. Don’t be shy. Secondly, Preach. Just open your mouth and speak. You don’t need to quote scriptures. Just go to someone, ask them to talk to them about God, and open your mouth and speak. God will give you words.
Finally, hold not your peace. Don’t stop. Go to someone today. Go to another catchment. Don’t let anything stop you. Go somewhere, and preach some where! Today, God will give you opportunities to talk to others. Don’t blow them!
Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for the opportunity to reach out with the gospel to others. I walk in boldness of the Spirit. I speak for your word without fear and shyness. I preach boldly in Jesus’ name.
