WEAPONIZING THE REVELATION OF GOD’S LOVE
[[Rom 5:5]] KJV And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Paul talking about the blessing of justification that we have in Christ added that we also joy in tribulations because we know that tribulations will produce patience, experience, and hope (Rom 5:3,4). And he affirmed that hope does not make ashamed.
The reason is because the love of God is spread abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. You see, in Christ, there are many blessings, most importantly spiritual blessings like salvation, redemption, peace, and all that, and material blessings too. But there are also tribulations because we live in a fallen world.
But we find in the above that the power to overcome these tribulations is the love of God in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Not even our love for God, but His love for us. We love Him because He first loved us (1Jn 4:19).
When we miss the revelation of His love for us, we start to feel the pressure and persecution, and we give up. But when the love of God fills our hearts, nothing can beat us. Remember we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us (Rom 8:37). Let nothing seperate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. The revelation of His love is your weapon to conquer tribulations. Win by His love! Do more for Him!
Prayer:
Father, thank you for loving me so much. I’m overwhelmed by your love. I sincerely see the pressure of ministry and the tribulations all around me. But your love makes me want to even do more. Let me not loose the revelation of your love. I go even more deeper into your love and work of the ministry in Jesus’ name.
