THE HAND OF GOD

[[1Ki 18:46]] AKJV And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

While Elijah prayed for rain in the midst of famine, the Bible says, “And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel” (1Ki 18:45). The heaven was black with clouds and wind after three and half years without rain because a man prayed.

Prayer is a climate changer. Prayer can change the economic, political, spiritual and even the physical climate over a region or a people. When we pray things happen. Nothing is absolutely late when it comes to prayer. Prayer invokes the hand of God. And all we need is the hand of God upon our lives or what we do.

When the clouds gathered with wind, Ahab took off in his chariot. The King’s chariot was made up of the best, fastest and strongest horses in Israel. No horse could beat or overtake the King’s chariot. Notwithstanding, after Ahab the king took off in his chariot to go to Jezreel, the hand of God came upon Elijah. And he overtook the King’s chariot on foot and got to Jezreel before the king. Glory to God!

Many have taken the lead in life, but you don’t need the finest chariot in town. All you need is for the hand of God to rest upon you. The hand of God will make your business overtake the fastest growing business. Hallelujah! Don’t be perturbed about those who have gone ahead of you, rather pray God’s hand to come upon you. Glory to God. I see the hand of God resting on you. Get ready to overtake those ahead of you! Glory!

Prayer:
Father I thank you today, I pray in Jesus’ name that your hand will rest upon me and all that concerns me. I am ready Lord!
