MAKING A DIFFERENCE

[[Jud 1:22]] KJV And of some have compassion, making a difference:

Compassion is a deep awareness of the suffering of others compelled with the burning desire to relieve it. Compassion is a divine virtue. God wants us to be compassionate towards others.

Jesus was compassionate. He was moved with compassion and feed over five thousand people by a miracle *(Mar 8:2). Jesus was also had compassion on multitude of sick folks and healed them *(Mat 14:14). Jesus had compassion of some blind people, touched their eyes and healed them immediately *(Mat 20:34). On another occasion He was moved with compassion, put forth His hand to touch a lepper and cleansed him *(Mar 1:41). Again Jesus filled with compassion, began to teach multitudes about the gospel of the kingdom *(Mar 6:34). Jesus was simply a compassionate man, no wonder He made a difference in His time.

We are also called to make a difference. And to accomplish that, we must be moved with compassion. Without this godly virtue we cannot change our world. Peter admonished us;

[[1Pe 3:8]] KJV Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

We must not render evil for evil. We must be moved by the suffering of others. In your own small way, you can give meaning to someone’s life.

In our opening text, Jude inspires us to be compassionate, making a difference. You can make a difference. You can forgive others. You can respond differently to hurt and the pain others cause you. Today demonstrate divine love and blow the minds of your critics.

Proof to the world that you are different. Proof to them that you’re just like Jesus. Show compassion to someone: make a difference!

Prayer:
Father I thank you for filling me with your divine nature, full of compassion, and making me just like Jesus. I demonstrate your love to others today through compassion. I thank you for making me a blessing to my world. Glory!
