OPERATING BY THE WORD OF HIS POWER
[[Heb 1:3]] KJV Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
As we look at Jesus, we discover ourselves. 1 John 4:17 tells us that as He is, so are we in this world. So for us to know how we are supposed to be like in this world, we must look at Jesus. We must find out how the glorified Jesus is like, and the more we discover, we are changed from glory to glory into what we see.
In the above, we see Jesus as the brightness of the Father’s glory and the express image of the Father’s person. This makes us know that we have now become the glory of the Father. And like Isaiah said, “..upon all the glory shall be a defence..” (Isa 4:5). Heaven is defending you on every side because you are the Glory of Almighty. Your termination means the abortion of heaven’s glory.
Again, Jesus upholds all things by the word of His power. Everything in the universe is controlled and upheld by the word of His power. This shows us how we should function. You, too , must uphold all things in your life by the word. You bring everything in check by the word. Train yourself to always speak the word all the time. Never speak your fears. Don’t speak your situations. Speak the word only.
Notice that the bible didn’t say Jeuss upholds all tnings by the word of His power and not power of His word. There’s a big difference. The word of His power means that the word is His power. As you speak the word of God, you are actually releasing the very power of God into the situations of your life. Glory to God.
Confession:
The word of God is alive in me. It functions in me. All things are mine. Everything falls in place in my life. Increase is mine. I excel. Money comes to me. I abound in every good work in Jesus’ name. I win today in Jesus’ name.
