OPERATING DIVINE UNDERSTANDING

[[Pro 5:1]] KJV My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:

Wisdom and understanding are very crucial in life. Wisdom builds, understanding establishes. “The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens” *(Pro 2:19). Proverbs 24 also says “Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:” *(Pro 24:3). Jeremiah also shows us that God created the universe by wisdom and understanding.

[[Jer 51:15]] KJV He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

Wisdom is acting according to the ways of God. Understanding on the other hand is the ability to grasp, comprehend, and assimilate the full meaning of a particular knowledge. Christ is made unto us wisdom so we already have the wisdom of God at word in us *(1Cor 1:30). But without understanding we cannot be established on what wisdom has already build for us.

You see, through the wisdom of God (Christ), God has built and prepared for us a destiny, but it must be established in our lives in order for us to enjoy. This is where understanding becomes crucial. In our opening text, the word says “….bow thy ear to MY UNDERSTANDING.” That means to triumph we need to submit ourselves to God’s understanding: His interpretation of life and life’s events.

Don’t rely on your own understanding. When matter is at hand, see and interprete it from God’s understanding and perspective. Everything that happens in life has a divine interpretation. So train yourself to see through the lenses of God’s word. This is how you get to manifest and establish what wisdom (Christ) accomplished for you. Understand life differently; from God’s view point. Operate divine understanding. Glory!!

Prayer:
Dear Father I thank you for saturating me with divine wisdom. I submit to your understanding. I let go my understanding and submit to yours. I see from your perspective. I walk in divine understanding today in Jesus’ name. Glory!
