THE DEAL IS SEALED!
[[Joh 14:6]] KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
In the above are the most powerful words ever spoken. No man throughout all history ever spoke those words save Jesus alone. And He was bold about it.
First, He said, “I am the way.” Jesus claimed to be THE way, not a way, but THE ONLY WAY to God. No prophet or religious leader ever said those words. Many of them claimed there was a God, but none knew there was even a way to Him. Jesus, however, who was Himself God and came down heaven *(John 6:38) definitely knew the way to God.
Again, if you are in Christ, and Christ is the way, then you have the way in you. And you can not miss your way to God. You live in His presence. This must generate confidence in every believer that they CANNOT to to hell: they are on THE WAY that leads to God.
Jesus also said He is THE TRUTH. His message about God was not just truth; it was THE TRUTH! Many have rendered their opinions about God. But the true and accurate information about God is in Christ alone. He proceeded from the Father *(John 8:42) and definitely should have the right knowledge of Him.
Jesus is the only person who ever claimed a living relationship with God. He said He was in the Father *(John 14:10). Again, He claimed to be the one with God *(John 10:30). His message about God, therefore, should be THE TRUTH.
Finally, Jesus said, “I am THE LIFE.” The very life of God was in Him. The bible says, “In Him is life” *(John 1:4). He that has the Son has life *(1John 5:12). CHRISTIANITY IS NOT THE CHANGE OF LIFE BUT RATHER AN EXCHANGE OF LIFE.
When you become a child of God, you give up your human life in exchange for God’s divine life through Christ Jesus. You there become a partaker of God’s divine life so that as He is, so are you IN THIS WORLD. Peter puts it like this;
[[2Pe 1:4]] KJV Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
If you are a child of God, you’ve actually escaped the corruption or death that is in this world. You now have the life and nature of God resident in you. You are in THE WAY. You have THE TRUTH. And God’s LIFE is in you. YOU CAN ONLY WIN! Cheer up. Your salvation is a done deal.
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for your great provision for me through Christ Jesus. I receive them by faith. I boldly declare that I live in your presence and have your life in me. Thank you for making me a blessing to my world. I so so much love you.
