THE PROOF OF HIS CLAIMS
[[Act 1:9]] KJV And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Why would one hundred and twenty people be willing to die because of their faith in a man that was arrested and crucified before their very eyes? Why will they boldly go everywhere preaching of His resurrection when they knew very well that it will cost their lives? The answer is simple. They had proof of His resurrection.
There are several proof such as Jesus manifesting Himself to His disciples and also to several people at the same time when He arose (1Cor 15:4-8). However, the striking one is when Jesus gave all His 120 followers commandment and right before their eye, He levitated and went into the heavens. Think about that. He had told them He came from heaven, and He just went back to heaven before them (Jn 6:38)!
This is why Peter for instance would boldly say “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty” (2Pe 1:16). They were not told: they saw everything. That’s where their boldness came from.
Jesus is not a myth. History validates His existence and claims. Believing in Jesus is not the same as Believing in other religious leader. Jesus backed all His claims with proof. Hence, your faith is backed by proof when you put your faith in Him. Glory to God!

Precious LORD, I love and completely trust in you. You are my life. Thank you for saving me and giving my life a meaning. I hope absolutely in you LORD. I love you more than life itself!
