COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM

[[2Co 6:17]] KJV Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

In the above, the LORD instructed His people to disassociate from the heathen; come out from among them, and to be separate. Many times, God’s people get to mingle with the world until you can’t tell the difference anymore. And God is calling His children to be separated – consecration.

Sometimes, the world make many believers think that they have something to offer. We hear of their wild parties. They seem to make all the money and have great liberty in the area of illicit sex. But that is a cheap life, and their end is already determined.

As a child of God, you are a king. You don’t mingle with just any crowd. You live a higher and glorious life. So come out from among them. God is calling you unto consecration – a life of separation. Look out for things, places, people, and habits that are not consistent with God’s word and purpose for your life and disengage from them.

In our opening text, God actually commanded us to come out from among them. You see, you don’t pray about consecration; you take the step deliberately to separate from the wrong associations. Quit praying for God to consecrate you. And do what the word says: COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM! That is how to be separated and consecrated.

God is calling you to consecration. Heaven wants you to have a new haven. Will you answer the call? Will you be consecrated?

Prayer
Dear God, I take hold of your word. I draw the demarcation for my life. I make I quality decision to be separated and consecrated for you. I thank you, and I love you.
