WORD DELIVERANCE
[[Pro 11:9]] KJV … but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
Ignorance is very expensive, and what you don’t know can kill you. In the above, we are told that through knowledge shall the just (or the righteous) be delivered.
Many have said that the righteous or the Christian needs to be delivered from satanic bondage. This position, however, contradicts the scriptures. Paul said the when we become born again, God already “hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” *(Col 1:13). So we have ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED from the power of darkness and translated into God’s kingdom. The kingdom of darkness can’t hold you back anymore. You cannot be under satanic bondage because Jesus made you free and “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” *(John 8:36).
This takes us back to our opening text, “through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” The question is why should the righteous be delivered if he is already delivered from the power of darkness? We you must understand that there are two types of deliverance: there’s deliverance FROM, and deliverance INTO.
Like in the case of Moses, the children of Israel were delivered FROM the bondage of Egypt. In Joshua, however, they were delivered INTO the promised land. In the same way, the Christian is delivered FROM the power of darkness, but he must be delivered INTO his inheritance in Christ. Being born again is not enough; you must possess whatever God has accomplished for you through Christ.
This is achieved through knowledge. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” *(Hos 4:6). God’s people are destroyed not because Satan is powerful but because they don’t know enough. As we discover truths from God’s word, we are delivered INTO them. The more we look into the mirror of God’s word, we are transformed into the image we see *(2Cor 3:18).
This is why it’s important to make time to study God’s word every day. God gave us His word for our deliverance INTO our inheritance. We access what God has provided for us through knowledge. Find out what He’s done for you, take hold of it, and enjoy it. Everything you’ll need in life is already given to you THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE of Him.

Father, I thank you that the entrance of your word today generates light in me. Through your word, I access and possess all that you have accomplished for me through Christ Jesus, and I walk in it in Jesus’ name. Glory!
